I think that we need to change the [https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/j2eects/cts-8-mods/tree/jakarta_ee8] porting/deployment to generate JBoss ejb deployment xml files, either via XSLTC (which we don't do much of for EJB deployment currently) or via including static shadow jboss*.xml files (e.g. [https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/j2eects/cts-8-mods/blob/jakarta_ee8/resourc...]).
