Can you show us how is your password saved in DB?
You can use {{pbkdf2PasswordHash.generate("HelloWorld".toCharArray())}} to
generate string for DB as explained in

When deploying one application using @DatabaseIdentityStoreDefinition, upon successful
login, the following exception is thrown
