Key: JGRP-1774

Project: JGroups
Issue Type: Enhancement
Reporter: Sanne Grinovero
Assignee: Sanne Grinovero
Fix For: 3.5
When a long gets encoded, a function is used which returns a {{byte[]}}.
There are some hot methods which invoke this encoding, to then append the buffer's
content into a _DataOutput_. Especially for the case of these hot methods we should rather
have the function write the encoded form directly into the _DataOutput_.
