Flavia Rainone closed JBAOP-463.
--------------------------------
Resolution: Duplicate Issue
During the issue creation, Jira emitted an error, and I thought the issue hadn't been
created. So, I mistakenly created it again (JBAOP-464).
Call.getClassName() and Call.getMethodName() must not be called after
Call is edited
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBAOP-463
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBAOP-463
Project: JBoss AOP
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 1.5.5.GA, 2.0.0.beta1
Reporter: Flavia Rainone
Assigned To: Flavia Rainone
Fix For: 2.0.0.beta2, 1.5.6.GA
The catcher block of call edit methods (CallerExprEditor class) should not try to
retrieve the class name and the method name. These fields should not be retrieved after
the call has been edited. Otherwise, the result is a NullPointerException.
To reproduce this error, use JRE6 to run the attached example.
