Rob Heine commented on LOGMGR-124:
----------------------------------
Hi James, don't wanna start discussing any "pale bear" issues here, but is
there a more-or-less simple way of replacing the default logging engine in
WildFly-9.x/10.x with a logging engine with log4j2 or logback? I guess, this will result
in a loss of configuration management via standalone-*.conf and "hot-swapping"
via the web console?
Things I really need at the moment is a way to:
* compress my logfiles (zip, gzip, bzip2, anything will do),
* marker support
These things currently do not seem to work with this solution.
Add marker support

Key: LOGMGR-124
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/LOGMGR-124
Project: JBoss Log Manager
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: core
Affects Versions: 2.0.2.Final
Reporter: Rob Heine
Priority: Optional
The logging engine currently (talking about the one included in WF-9) does not support
Markers (like in implementations like "logback" and/or "log4j2").
