Brian Stansberry commented on WFWIP-188:

[~jdenise] OK, so the incompatibility isn't really existing templates vs chained
builds, it's existing templates vs slimming.
[~mjurc] Is this an acceptable solution? The alternative AFAICT is a duplicate set of
templates where we don't set so many env vars. But some, particularly the
'generate' ones, the 'default', i.e. having a generated value available is
really useful. So really that's not a meaningful alternative.
I'm not sure how feasible it is to have the scripts be forgiving of so many vars and
just ignore values that don't fit with the config.
[Galleon] Exisiting EAP templates are not able to use chained builds

Project: WildFly WIP
Issue Type: Bug
Components: OpenShift
Reporter: Michal Jurc
Assignee: Jean Francois Denise
Priority: Critical
It's not possible to trigger a chained build with existing EAP templates. This kind
of hinders the usability since the existing templates already cover a lot of useful test
cases.
