Bottom line for this issue: * if running the standalone.xml configuration without the integrated HornetQ, one can't deploy MDBs that consume from a queue on a remote HornetQ server. * using standalone-full.xml and configuring a trimmed down integrated HornetQ server and a pooled connection factory doesn't work either.
