Alternatively, it can properly work *without* EHCache, but in that case EHCache must not be available in the test classpath. I tried upgrading the ehcache dependency, but I could not find a version that actually works. Version 2.7.1 is not usable because it pulls a bunch of terracotta components that are not on the jboss maven repository.
