Geoffrey De Smet commented on WFLY-5279:
----------------------------------------
From a user's perspective it's confusing that 8.2.1 bom
doesn't match widfly 8.2.1 but 8.2.0 instead - maybe for future similar cases it would
be called 8.2.0.1 instead, so there's room for 8.2.1?
We definitely have a
potential issue due to this, as we're using wildfly 8.2.1 with wildfly-bom 8.2.1 which
is apparently a bad combination.
Any reason why the 9.0.1.Final bom isn't available on Maven Central?
Maven Central versions don't match
wildfly.org: each have a
version that the other doesn't have

Key: WFLY-5279
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFLY-5279
Project: WildFly
Issue Type: Task
Components: Build System
Reporter: Geoffrey De Smet
Assignee: Tomaz Cerar
On Maven central [1], I can find version {{8.2.2.Final}} which doesn't exist on
wildfly.org [2].
On the other hand, on
wildfly.org [2], I can find version {{9.0.1.Final}} which isn't
on Maven Central [1].
This makes testing our libraries for wildfly (with arquillian) very confusing.
