Adrian Brock updated JBAS-1702:
-------------------------------
Component/s: JMX
Fix Version/s: (was: JBossAS-5.0.0.Beta3)
Priority: Optional (was: Critical)
Unscheduling. It would be nice to be able to use the XMBean
in other JMX implementations, but unfornately somebody introduced
a dependency on the the JBossMX mbean registry which should not be there.
Factor out XMBean from JMX
--------------------------
Key: JBAS-1702
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBAS-1702
Project: JBoss Application Server
Issue Type: Sub-task
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: JMX
Reporter: Adrian Brock
Priority: Optional
The XMBean implementation needs to be factored out from the MBeanServer.
There should be no dependencies of XMBean on the JMX implementation
since it is just a modelmbean implementation.
This is required such that we can develop the JMX implementation for
our pojo strategy while still allowing old XMBean deployments
to run in the new implementation.
