The configured settings are applied to all EJB IORs generated by the application server and can be overriden by the settings found in the jboss.xml deployment descriptor. There have been requests to port this feature to WF. The default IOR settings must be overriden if the bean contains IOR metadata in jboss-ejb3.xml.
