It's been partly ported to work with JBC 2.x but is somewhat broken due to the intent to replace it with the much Hibernate/JBC integration that ships internally in Hibernate 3.3. This JIRA is to get the TreeCacheProviderHook working anyway. Mostly I'm doing this because 1) the work is useful in validating there are no JBC issues; 2) much of it is testsuite cleanup that will be applicable when I integrate the Hibernate 3.3 entity clustering. A side benefit though is this becomes useful code for integrating Hibernate 3.2 with JBC 2.x.
