Project: PortletSwap
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: Portlets
Affects Versions: PortletSwap 2.0
Environment: jboss-portal-2.2.1RC3 running on Windows Server 2003
JBoss News Portlet 2/14/06
Reporter: Rudy Keiser
Assigned To: Roy Russo
Fix For: PortletSwap 2.0
If a user enters an invalid RSS URL in edit mode on the News Portlet an uncaught
exception is thrown stopping the portlet for that user.
It appears that the preference is saved since the portlet is unavailable to that user
after a restart of the portal server.
