By the way, I just want to say that I know the 1.1.5 release was a bit rocky and this is totally my fault for being impatient and not going through a proper beta/rc cycle like I should have. (In hindsight we really should have incremented the version number to 1.2.) Anyway, I want to let you guys know that I've learned my lesson from this and I will try to not to make the same mistake again. I'm pretty confident that 1.1.6 has ironed out the teething problems that were there. [JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - Why wouldn't Eclipse 3.1.2 / JBoss IDE give me the missing X

Chapter 6 of the JBoss IDE tutorial. Fresh copy of Eclipse 3.1.2 and JBoss IDE 1.6GA. I get to the step where I go to the servlet's Javadoc class paragraph. I type "@web." and hit ctrl-space. I see the list of the JBoss IDE auto-completion term list. If I arrow down to any of them and hit enter, the term list goes away and nothing appears. Same goes for using the mouse and clicking on any of the terms in the list. Ctrl-space works fine elsewhere (example: If I type in the ComputeServlet() constructor "FiboHome." and hit ctrl-space and pick "class" and I get "FiboHome.class") Ideas? [JNDI/Naming/Network] - Proxy ClassCastException after successful EJB lookup

Using the EJB3 trailerblazer as a guide (http://trailblazer.demo.jboss.com/EJB3Trail/serviceobjects/slsb/index.html) I've been trying to reference a SLSB via a local interface in the web tier. I just wanted to add my sincere thanks to the Seam development team. I've been putting off re-engineering/re-writing our web application for the last year or so because the thought of doing it again in Struts was just too... horrible. Seam looked great when I started reading the docs and sample application code a few months ago. Now it's just getting better and better with each release. It seem like you have a list of my use cases and are ticking them off one by one: mail support- so easy to provide either plain text or html mail; SeamText- we were already planning on some sort of wiki-like behavior in our app; PDF generation- perfect for some of our reporting requirements. [JBoss Seam] - Success after logging in... which page???

After logging in I get my success page displayed for some reason. The only way to get to success is to use <navigation-case> <from-outcome>success</from-outcome> <to-view-id>/success.xhtml</to-view-id> </navigation-case> and I am not setting any result that I know of to success... How do actually say which page to go to after successful login? (as in my case I want to stay on the same page)? in your semspace example you have <h:commandButton value="LOGIN" action="#{identity.login}" styleClass="loginButton"/> and it appears that you go to welcome.xhtml. Just can't find how! I was hoping that there was some configuration I could set so that if an invocation took more than a certain amount of time it would automatically throw an exception. It sounds as if you are saying there is not such configuration and offer a couple of alternatives. One alternative is to create a thread in an interceptor and have the work done in that new thread. The interceptor could wait on that thread with a timeout and throw and excpetion if the thread does not return in time. I can see how that would work, but it would double the number of threads in our system, which worries me. The other alternative is to program with futures. I am not quite clear how to do this, but I suspect it is an approach we would not want. We like the api to be synchronous from the client point of view. Also, the api is quite large, so I suspect there would be a lrage number of changes to make this work. Could you say if I am reading your responses correctly? I appreciate your help. Unfortunately, I am not sure that either of these approaches are ones we want to take.
