[Beginners Corner] - Java virtual machine option for JBoss Web 2.1.1GA in 64bit

I heard that JVM can be invoked by using the -server or -client command-line option according to our needs , and heard about the -d64 option too . In a 64-bit environment how to set it to fully utilizes the 64-bit hardware in JBoss Web 2.1.1 running on 64bit JDK and Linux64bit OS? Do we really need need a sync on the TM for this case, couldn't we just not do any changes, the opposite of the "old" behavior, which was like a auto commit? Is there another method I should use here to cut back the logging? We use the logs for Tokens to determine run times; the others are unneeded in our application. No, that doesn't work for us since we need to register synchronizations with the TM for cache operations. If the transaction is marked as rolled back, TMs will not accept any new syncs being registered as per the JTA spec. So this means the cache cannot meaningfully operate in a tx if its status is MARKED_ROLLBACK, and hence the exception. Thinking of it a little bit more, I think a more passive behavior when setRollbackOnly is used would be better, since when invoking it in the transaction manager still allows you to do anything, just the commit will fail. This behavior is also considered at least in JAIN-SLEE, where you can read and set any state, it just won't be committed. What do you think? Inside jbpm-configuration.jar are jbpm.hibernate.cfg.xml and jbpm.cfg.xml files. [JBoss Portal] - Re: Admin role ignored when fetched from LDAP

I have a similar problem except that the portal won't recognize admin role when the LDAP server is using roles (vs groups). Any chance you can pass on your working role configuration?
