As we have stated in the past we will start the documentation phase
during july. However as with ALL open source projects we hope that the
community will contribute towards the documentation, as it is something
that ANYONE is able to do, and those contributions can be done at any
time and enable the core dev team to focus on writting the engine. There
are lots of small things that can be done, especially in the reference
section where visio diagrams need updating, has anyone offered to
document an example from the drools-examples project? heck you even have
the drools 2.0 documentation as a starter template for fibonacci and the
state example.
I've found that since joining JBoss the community has become apathetic
towards documentation, tutorials etc, and yet more vocal in demanding
where the documentation is - which for me is very disapointing. I had
more people willing to help me back in Drools 2.0 days, when we had a
much smaller user base and lower visibility. If this project is to
thrive then more users need to get involved.

Hi,
I have downloaded the new version of JBoss rules Management System
from
http://markproctor.blogspot.com/2007/05/jboss-rules-40-milestone-release-...
We were succesfuly able to deploy the application and view the
console part of it, but we are facing problem to add and manage the
rules using the same.
I did a search for documentation but found only few lines in the
release documentation @
http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=4.0.0.MR2ReleaseNotes
Please provide us documentation for using it.
Regards,
G Venkata Phanindra.
