I picked up on this project from watching Ales' talk at JUDCon. https://github.com/avrecko/weld-guiceconfig/wiki/ It seems to fit well with the vision to support other metadata providers in Seam Config. Perhaps it wouldn't be too much work to remap the logic in the extension observers to the same mechanism that the existing XML provider uses (some of which now lives in Solder). Nice to see this idea got noticed. Sadly I am quite busy with studies and gsoc project for scala/akka. To be honest Seam is not my cup of tea on the other hand writing DSLs in Java is a lot of fun for me. If you need any help with that I'd be happy to spare some time. I don't have time to do this alone. If somebody else helps a great deal with details of Seam and CDI then I think we can make this work. But no promises.
