[ANN] UnifiedPush Server 1.1.0-beta.1 is out

Folks, after month of work, the AeroGear team is happy to announce the first beta release for the UPS 1.1.0! A list of highlights: * Analytic endpoint for "app opened due to push" * Analytic UI (nice graphs for the engagement) * lot's of UI improvements since last alpha.2 release * More JMS enhancements for scalability All content for this release is is visible here: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AGPUSH/fixforversion/12326579 The items are downloadable on Github: https://github.com/aerogear/aerogear-unifiedpush-server/releases/tag/1.1.... UnifiedPush Server 1.1.0-beta.1

Hi, after month of work, here is the first beta release for the UPS 1.1.0. It contains more features and inprovements around UI, JMS for enhanced scalability and a lot of other stuff: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AGPUSH/fixforversion/12326579 Please test the staged release: https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/repositories/jboss_releases_st... Like w/ the previous alpha.2, please make sure you use a full profile WildFly or EAP server for tests, since we now have JMS hooks ;-) (See README for details) On Wednesday I'd like to press the button to release it to the wild. PS: Since this is the first beta release we won't yet be updating our Openshift cartridge - that will stay on 1.0.3 (stable) for a little longer time. For the next release (beta.2) in a few weeks we may get to this Openshift update. aerogear UPS - deploy failed - wildfly - java 1.8_45

Android GCM PUSH ERROR - Error sending payload to GCM server: java.util.ConcurrentModificationException

I have Aerogear set up properly for iOS notifications and they are working, however Android is not. Registration works no problem, but sending pushes does not. I have 4 devices registered and I am getting the following error when sending a test notification to the devices. UPS: Code Freeze (Re: UPS 1.1.0-beta.1 heads up)

Hi, we have in the fixes for those tickets that we wanted on BETA.1: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AGPUSH/fixforversion/12326579 Let's freeze the MASTER branch for a few days. Later today (read: 2nite) I will run the release plugin to create the TAG and get the bits up on staging for testing. UPS 1.1.0-beta.1 heads up

Hello, we have a few pending PRs for 1.1.0-beta.1: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AGPUSH/fixforversion/12326579 These will be merged later today, or tomorrow (reviews are going on). I have moved the migration task out to beta.2, since that is really a larger concern for 1.1.0-final (and than coming from 1.0.3). For Analytics, the following push libraries/sdks are merged: * Android * iOS * Windows That means, we can now start (for beta.2) on Cordova and also updating the HelloWorld demos. The demos should be ready shortly after our beta.1 release, since the SDKs/libraries need releases (e.g. to CocoaPods, Maven Central or Nugget). If all goes well, with the PRs above, I'd like to TAG end of tomorrow. QE is already able to run their tests based on latest. After we tagged, there will be a bit of a code freeze for us, for testing and stuff. Once beta.1 is finally released (~mid next week), the master branch will be open again for beta.2 related PRs.
