Our largest userbase should be the Phonegap/Cordova crowd.
Ummm, I have to disagree there. The entire idea of SimplePush is based
around bringing push notifications to web apps. If a Cordova dev wants push
notifications they will more likely use something like
https://github.com/phonegap-build/PushPlugin or some other push plugin
along with the native (APNS, GCM) services since I imagine they want the
push notification to also happen when the app isn't open. Our
SimplePushClient won't give them that.
I did not realize this graphic was focused on SimplePush and the FireFox
OS.
If so, I retract my point.
I remain hopeful that we will offer a good solution for the HTML5-focused
Phonegap/Cordova APNS/GCM developers of the world.
The mentioned thread describes how it works - I will (next week) write a
little 'howto';
Basically we a) reuse existing push plugins and b) give them our JS to
register with the server; works prefectly fine - IMO no need to create a
custom plugin (now)

I also like it. One request/question. Would it be possible and not
confusing to split the JS image to also show desktop? I'm thinking split
the image on a diagonal from bottom left to top right so that upper left
side of image is the top portion of a mobile device and bottom right
portion of image is the bottom of a monitor and partial keyboard? I just
think it would be cool to show it would work on both somehow in one image.
Yep, that's a good idea. Updated version:

Nice! Much better than my idea. I like it!
