Oh, wait - does the Android API "pluralize" the endpoints ?
(e.g. Car.class => "http:......../cars")
If not, a PipeConfig needs to be applied (endpoint set to cars, for the
Car.class)

yeah, that statement was wrong. I was more concerned, promoting "impl
details (RestAdapter) instead of using "public" API: pipeline.pipe(.....);
