Yes, I think we could remove the server grunt starts , it does not add any value.

There's just one last issue not solved, when you run grunt server and get a
preview on localhost:9000, is it possible to log in ? My password doesn't
work (I guess this preview isn't linked to the datasource), but admin:123
doesn't work either and if I try to load /mobileApps (for example) I get
redirected to the login form.
If there isn't a solution, it's not really important since I can test it on
the localhost:8080 but it makes the localhost:9000 feature useless.
