Could actually reproduce the issue:
* Start 10 members with config=asym-ssl.xml (change_key_on_leave=true)
* Gracefully leave 1 (coord) and 2 (next-in-line to become coord) in short succession
==> Sometimes a member still has a view including member 2
The unit test is {{ASYM_ENCRYPT_LeaveTest.testGracefulLeave()}}.

I think the only proper way to fix this is to remove these defaults, and let the these default to null. The default should come from the default XML config instead.
I guess this means from a compatibility point of view:
- Change old parser version to explicitly add the defaults if they are missing, so older config files still work
- Update our default configs to include the defaults
- Add transformer to reject config for older hosts if default is not set
- Update all the runtime code to deal with the fact that it may now be null
- Figure out how to handle the case where this is actually null and a deployment has not explicitly targeted a server/host, I guess a deployment failure would make the most sense.
[~bstansberry] does this seem reasonable to you?

This issue was never present in downstream product, as 7.1.1 is based on 2.4.0 and 7.2.0 will be upstream 2.6.0 -> 7.2.0 will already contain a fix.
[~osushche] tried to reproduce the issue and that the resolution.
Upstream issue only, which is fixed since 2.6.0.

Hm, the stack shows that you're working with CDI 1.2 (Java EE 7 mode). In CDI 2.0 the {{javax.enterprise.inject.spi.CDI}} internals are a bit different. Could you also run your test in "EE 8 preview" mode?
Anyway, I didn't know that {{java.net.URL.openStream()}} requires a priviliged block. Its javadoc does not say anything about security exceptions. [~dmlloyd] Is there a list of operations we should check in CDI/Weld?
