[~manovotn], I don't see the rational for open-tracing to be required for rest-client to work. I suspect that the way open-tracing advertise annotation/integrate with CDI has a side effect on the classloading of rest-client classes. So we can have that as a workaround but not really a "fix".

Then that's probably the way it should be configured?
I am not familiar with galleon provisioning, so I don't know what a proper fix should be like. All I am saying is that the MP API classes are not loadable :)

The example server profiles are not practical. An existing server profile cannot make use of this – rather these should be replaced with a CLI script which upgrades and existing profile to use given modification, i.e. in this specific case replace MPING with AZURE_PING and some properties.
