Things that were wrong on that connection string were: - The driver name *is* wrong: it's inverting jdbc.microsoft with microsoft.jdbc on the package name (or something like.. don't remember exact what was inverted on the class name) - The driver I used coudn't identify the connection String configured on mssql-df.xml.
