couldn't figure out what actually was wanted. please create a new issue with more
concrete info if you want this to be handled. but we don't intend to add more
complexity to the current persistence services. so if it comes down to that, we'll
probably not implement it.

Rather than use the JtaDbPersistenceService we wanted to delegate all transaction
handling to Hibernate. The file attached to this issue needs the following jbpm.cfg.xml:
<service name="persistence"
factory="com.catlin.workflow.engine.persistence.HibernateDbPersistenceServiceFactory"
/>
and appropriate session context management in hibernate.cfg.xml:
<property name="current_session_context_class">jta</property>
or
<property
name="current_session_context_class">thread</property>
The end result is all transactionality is delegated to jBPM's Hibernate context.
Let me know if this is of any use and I'll neaten it up for use inside the jBPM
source tree.
