This has been a long standing Andiamo issue, and personally I think we should keep this as
simple as possible. A deployment level shutdown is certainly going beyond the original
requirement. All we need, at least initially, is to be able to gracefully shutdown the
server, and all its deployments. I think we should start course grained, and if it proves
easy to move beyond that, then we could do that in a second phase of development around
this feature.
Just by being able to gracefully shutdown, we will be miles ahead of where we are now for
usability.
