However, even if the stack is IPv6, IPv4-defined addresses like 192.168.1.5 will get mapped to IPv4 mapped addresses in IPv6, so this should be allowed ! However, class D (multicast) addresses cannot be mapped to IPv6 addresses automatically, so we should still throw an exception here. So 192.168.1.5 should be valid for both IPv4 and IPv6 stacks !
