Wesley Hales resolved JBPORTAL-1842.
------------------------------------
Resolution: Done
The page that the modal represents(login.jsp) has a dynamically rendered cancel button. If
the page is presented in a modal, it shows the cancel. If a user goes to or is redirected
to the login page, then what can they cancel? So, for usability, since this is a page, it
did not make sense to have a cancel because the portal made a decision to redirect to that
page.
Good usability is not trying to write your own back button feature, but to let the browser
do its job ;-) Although some browsers still don't do there job very well at times.
Login form should have a cancel option
