If you enable the IE9 'compatibility view' the console does work there.

Installed jboss-as-web-7.0.2.Final. Changed port to 80 and changed bind address. The page
http://<host> displays all right (in IE9). Clicking on the Administration Console
link (http://<host>:9990/console/App.html) displays an empty page.
