I really hope this issue, and with it the ones listed by Jan will be fixed in a JBoss AS
6.1 release.
It's not only that AS 7 may still take some time, but also that AS 7 was written
"completely from scratch" and may therefor cost a significant amount of time to
upgrade to. Meanwhile this bug is very painful, and practically makes it impossible to use
CDI on JBoss AS for us.
