Jim Tyrrell commented on AS7-2640:
----------------------------------
What if I make a typo can I up arrow and make a fix and "replay" the command
like I can in a Linux/Dos Shell? Are these '\' added automatically on long lines?
Did you look at the MySQL client which I think has behavior that is close to this?
Multiple lines commands in the CLI should be possible

Key: AS7-2640
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-2640
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: CLI
Reporter: Jim Tyrrell
Assignee: Alexey Loubyansky
Labels: eap6-ux
Fix For: 7.1.2.Final-redhat1
When cutting and pasting CLI examples from docs or labs, it should be possible to respect
multiple lines. Either the MySQL command shell style with a trailing ; to make the
command "executable" or using a \ as in Linux Shells. For the win both could
work. At least one has to work so that it is easy to cut and paste commands from docs/web
sites into the CLI.
