What this logic attempts to do is fairly complex and includes deserializing the session off the disk. If there is a problem, an ERROR message is logged and in the next run of the background processor, another attempt is made. All this is fine, but if whatever is causing the problem isn't going to correct itself, trying over and over each time the background thread runs is pointless and just spams the logs.
