Vaclav Tunka updated AS7-2389:
------------------------------
Summary: Domain mode: when editing hosts from web console, configuration file gets
stored on wrong host controller (was: Domain mode: when editing hosts from console,
configuration file gets stored on wrong host controller)
Domain mode: when editing hosts from web console, configuration file
gets stored on wrong host controller
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AS7-2389
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-2389
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Console, Domain Management
Affects Versions: 7.1.0.Alpha1
Reporter: Vaclav Tunka
Assignee: Heiko Braun
Priority: Critical
Labels: eap6-ux
We had a configuration of 3 computers:
computer A: domain-controller, host-controller
computer B: host
computer C: host
host.xml <servers> element was empty for each host. When adding a jboss-as server
instance to host C using the web console (domain-controller) it mistakenly got written to
host B, supposedly because host B was added earlier to the cluster, instead to writing it
to host C's host.xml file.
