CombinedVFSCache permanent root canonical url result in context not found ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: JBAS-7189 URL: https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-7189 Project: JBoss Application Server Issue Type: Feature Request Security Level: Public(Everyone can see) Components: VFS Affects Versions: JBossAS-5.1.0.GA Reporter: Juergen none Assignee: Ales Justin org.jboss.virtual.plugins.cache.CombinedVFSCache init in conf/bootstrap/vfs.xml, permantent root key values are converted to URL via org.jboss.util.propertyeditor.URLEditor, which in turn uses org.jboss.util.Strings.toURL(String, String) to create a canonical version. so <key>file:/opt/jboss/home/../deploy</key> becomes: /opt/jboss/deploy but org.jboss.virtual.plugins.cache.CombinedVFSCache.findContext(URL) will not create a canonical url, so lookup with file:/opt/jboss/home/../deploy fails to match key /opt/jboss/deploy findContext should apply same String-to-URL conversion to guarantee match
