When we change any attribute in GUI mode and save changes all characters became unreadable (sometimes just "???"). It happens due to missing implicit pointing characterset in the method that constructs OutputStreamWriter. As the XML has hardcoded UTF-8 encoding at saving time it reasonable to change a peace of code like: new OutputStreamWriter(os) to new OutputStreamWriter(os, "UTF-8");
