Eduardo Martins commented on WFLY-1081:
---------------------------------------
[~jason.greene] [~swd847] there is still a lot of room for performance improvement with
the planned changes into the jndi lookup algorithm, but IMHO the lookup does not
introduces significant performance penalty on injection and should be used, since it
provides jndi permission checks, support for references, read resolves, etc.
LinkRef Injection Failure
-------------------------
Key: WFLY-1081
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFLY-1081
Project: WildFly
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Naming
Reporter: Eduardo Martins
Assignee: Eduardo Martins
Attachments: resource-injection-tests.zip
Since there is no jndi lookup involved in @Resource injection, an exception is thrown due
to wrong injection target type (expects LinkRef).
