My current ideas are to have four tabs in the tabbed properties view:
- General: to contain name (and later description attributes)
- Details: to contain all relevant details (e.g. expression for an exclusive gateway);
ideally this should be based on metadata.
- Graphics: the graphical attributes if any
- Advanced: the tabular properties view for all properties not supported by the above
tabs
Problems to solve:
- How to deal with collections of config data?
- How do the metadata look to compose the Details tab?

Preferably by using the tabbed properties view. The properties should be laid out in
categories. If a selectable graphical entity has sub-entities that are not visible on the
graph, they should appear in tree structured details view. Selection of a particular
detail in this view brings up the properties of this detail.
