The first link you tried[1] seems to make the assumption that you are running a supported
Jenkins CSB master. From the error that you copied it looks like you are running Jenkins
2.193, which is not a version that we support. For this reason manually specifying a
version in the update center url is necessary.

Checking for updates fails with:
There were errors checking the update sites: IOException: Server returned HTTP response
code: 403 for URL:
http://ci-ops-jenkins-update-site.rhev-ci-vms.eng.rdu2.redhat.com/update-...
Probably because of incorrect certificates.
