Adrian Brock closed JBMICROCONT-288.
------------------------------------
Resolution: Rejected
Kernels are not in general singletons in the JVM.
This is not a feature for the MC, it is a feature of the host environment.
e.g. in JBossAS you would use the singleton MBeanServer to get a reference to the
singleton kernel.
Use the forums to discuss things first rather than polluting JIRA
with pointless and misguided requests.
Serializable reference to the kernel
------------------------------------
Key: JBMICROCONT-288
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBMICROCONT-288
Project: JBoss MicroContainer
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Kernel
Affects Versions: JBossMC.2.0.0.Beta13
Reporter: Carlo de Wolf
It's not currently possible to get a serializable reference to the kernel. So if an
object gets unserialized (for some reason) it's impossible to hook it back to some MC
bean.
