The correct top level element is: <application-client xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application-client_5.xsd" version="5"> Additionally, the description/display-name are in the wrong order when compared with the schema definition.
