yes managed to fix this in the factory, in debug mode it eager creates the external
resolvers. The impl is quite clean, so I'm happy with it this way. Found another MVEL
bug, where it doesn't find all external inputs, have creating a failing test in MVEL
for this.

if I add a break point to the second line all external vars are visible, but not on the
