Tomaz Cerar commented on WFLY-5291:
-----------------------------------
that two folder do get cleaned up on restart.
There is feature in VFS to do just that, and another in registration of deployment
processors.
In what exact version of WildFly you have problems with that?
Cache will be cleaned automatically with a restart

Key: WFLY-5291
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFLY-5291
Project: WildFly
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Server
Environment: for all WildFly Application Servers on every operating system
Reporter: Sarah Julia Kriesch
Assignee: Jason Greene
Priority: Minor
We are using JBoss/ WildFly for our application and have the problem, that you have to
shutdown WildFly for clearing the cache.
A full cache is using a lot of performance. Our customers are not happy, if we would have
to shutdown the server for cleanings additionally to application hotfixes.
My idea:
A new feature with cleaning the cache (/tmp and /work) automatically with the restart of
the application server.
benefits:
- better performance for the application server
- applications are faster
- lower technical problems with the application
- lower work for the System Administrator
- more place on the hard disk
- customers are happy :-)
