Thomas Szadel commented on AS7-3959:
------------------------------------
It doesn't seem to be corrected in JBoss 7.1.1.Final :( (on Win7 - JDK 1.7.03)
I've downloaded the latest archive, it fails with the same exception on a remote ejb
call with primitive types.
I've extracted & decompiled the ClassLoaderClassCloner and unfortunately, the test
of the primitive type doesn't take part of the source code...
If I recompile the class & add the test, it works...
When do you think a new version with the patch (as it is a major bug) will be officially
released ?
Thanks
SerializingCloner can't clone primitive data types

Key: AS7-3959
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3959
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Bug
Components: EJB
Affects Versions: 7.1.0.Final
Reporter: Sebastian Woeste
Assignee: jaikiran pai
Labels: ejb, jboss-as7
Fix For: 7.1.1.Final
If i try to invoke a method remote the arguments will be cloned by
org.jboss.marshalling.cloner.SerializingCloner.
The SerializingCloner calls the ClassLoaderClassCloner.clone(final Class<?>
original) method where an exception will be thrown if the argument is a primitive data
type.
See the forum reference for some more details.
