Maybe we can do the same job by a 'smart' sql statement, but I tried to create one but found I'm not smart enough to come up with one. :) So I'm thinking that such sql if exist must be a complex one and hard to maintain across different DB. So I gave up easily and turn to the programmatic way. I'll think hard....
