No, you can't navigate through the lines. I think It's gonna be too tricky to do
that with the current state of things. But that'd be useful.
'\' are not automatically added. You have to press Enter. I don't think we
should support that.
I have an idea of the feature in MySQL but it's been a long time since I used it.
Multiple lines commands in the CLI should be possible

When cutting and pasting CLI examples from docs or labs, it should be possible to respect
multiple lines. Either the MySQL command shell style with a trailing ; to make the
command "executable" or using a \ as in Linux Shells. For the win both could
work. At least one has to work so that it is easy to cut and paste commands from docs/web
sites into the CLI.
