If I use the: "-Djboss.vfs.forceVfsJar=true" option this behavior still happens
in 5.1.0.
I use the "-Djboss.vfs.forceVfsJar=true" option because otherwise jboss hangs
for 4 mins trying to deploy my ejb jar.
Still have no clue why.

When war archive status is 'UP', Delete .war from applications list
Confirmation: Successfully deleted Web Application (WAR) 'hellothere.war'.
Server side shows war was undeployed.
Follow the same navigation steps, but this time upon Adding Resource, the following is
displayed to client (and server.log):
