Elias Ross updated JBCACHE-1286:
--------------------------------
Attachment: amazon-s3-patch.txt
Eclipse Patch
Support for Amazon S3 service (patch)
-------------------------------------
Key: JBCACHE-1286
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-1286
Project: JBoss Cache
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.CR4
Reporter: Elias Ross
Assigned To: Manik Surtani
Attachments: amazon-s3-patch.txt
This adds a cache loader that allows for Amazon S3 to be used as a JBoss Cache Loader.
Sub Tasks:
* Create build of
https://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbosscache/amazon-s3/trunk (assign proper
version #)
All tests pass. But to run the tests, you need an Amazon S3 account, and running the test
suite costs about 2-3 cents per run :-) No, I won't give out my account credentials.
The loader is not terribly useful for lots of small objects, as it's high latency.
Having pooled HTTP connections would be smart, that's a TODO.
I can work on documentation as well, if interested.
