I think that it is. It has been causing an intermittent failure in testsuite.
I have tested it with AS 7.1.1 and I've got the same error.
The quickstart does not do the same thing as the testcase. The problem is in subsequent
lookup on RemoteConnectionFactory. The first lookup works fine but the second one

causes the exception.
In case you could try to clone whole branch with the testcase:
git clone -b remoteconnectionfactory-lookup git@github.com:ochaloup/jboss-as.git
build the AS7: ./build.sh clean install
and then run the test command. I hope that it could then work.

I do lookup for RemoteConnectionFactory firstly locally in container and secondary via
remote client. Then the second (remote one) lookup for RemoteConnectionFactory fails with
