James Strachan created DROOLS-545:
-------------------------------------
Summary: allow the workbench to be configured with a git URL, user, password
and folder on startup
Key: DROOLS-545
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-545
Project: Drools
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Reporter: James Strachan
Assignee: Mark Proctor
when using drools from inside fabric8 it'd be awesome if we could configure a git URL,
user, password and folder (or maybe a list of folders?) within git to use for projects.
http://docs.jboss.org/drools/release/6.0.1.Final/drools-docs/html/wb.Work...
then we could use a folder in the git repo used by fabric8 as the git repo to use for the
drools workbench; then we can have a demo of drools, jbpm, camel & dozer; all in the
same folder in git - and reuse fabric8's rolling upgrade UI so different containers
can use different versions etc (e.g. we could demo doing rolling upgrades of execution
servers or whatnot). It'd make for a great demo :)
Folks can always opt out and just create their own separate git repos for projects if they
prefer
