I propose the creation of a _ConnectionActivationListener_ interface (or even split it into two interfaces - _ConnectionPassivationListener_) where you could find the following methods: {code:java} void connectionActivated(Connection con) throws SQLException; void connectionPassivated(Connection con) throws SQLException; {code} And then allow adding this class to a datasource configuration.
